MR. SPRINGFIELD

NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – The Springfield Tigers football team is improving more and more each week and building confidence more and more as the season goes on. One senior, Jacob Lample, has been quietly building his football skills and leadership qualities week in and week out until exploding onto the scene last week against Waterloo. Lample, is a true double threat as an offensive tackle and a defensive end, who’s talent exemplifies the essence of versatility and dedication. On the offensive line, he stands tall providing a formidable shield for his teammates and opening pathways to victory with his exceptional blocking skills. Simultaneously, as a defensive end, he is a relentless force, disrupting opponents’ plays and sacking quarterbacks with an unwavering determination. Jacob’s commitment to the game and his ability to excel on both sides of the ball and also in the classroom, showcase his extraordinary talent and his unyielding passion for representing the Tigers with pride every single day.

YSN’s own, Steve Leslie, had the opportunity to catch up with Jacob this week at the Tigers Table to discuss his senior season so far, what Jacob wants to accomplish this season as we are already into week five, what he wants to do after high school, what some of his keys to victory are this week against Mathews, and a rapid fire questionnaire where Jacob gets put on the spot and answers some tricky questions about what makes him the person and athlete he is today.

All that and so much more in this week’s episode of Springfield Tigers football player profile with senior star, Jacob Lample!
