GET READY FOR HETTY

*Contributed by Anthony Romo

WARREN, OH- Packing up your bags and moving schools can be one of the hardest and most stressful things that a teenager can do, Warren JFK Junior Jake Hettrick attacked this battle the only way he knows how to, with strength and courage. Hettrick is the starting third baseman for a Warren JFK team that is coming off a state title run just last spring. Hettrick brings a lot of power to a team that brings back a lot of experience from last year’s squad and is poised to make another deep run this season. Aside from the long fly balls and leadership on the field, Hettrick has taken pride in something off the field as well, mental health. Alongside a few close friends, Hettrick has helped create a service named Inspire Athletes. The mission of this organization is to give the ability for athletes who are struggling mentally to be able to have someone to talk to with just one click of a button that will help them hop over these mental hurdles.
