CAMPBELL BOYS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 5) WITH NICK CANTERINO

CAMPBELL OH- For the first time since 2009 Campbell has won a district championship in boys basketball. They did it in emphatic fashion too. After a competitive first half with Jefferson, the Red Devils exploded to a 20 point 74-54 victory. That’s one goal down, and a couple more to go. Standing in the Red Devils way is Cardinal Mooney. The Cardinals defense is no joke. They held Springfield to 31 points in their district final. The Devils offense will be put to the test on Wednesday at 6:00 at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.

Nick Canterino came back on Running Point this week to recap the district championship, and also preview the regional semifinal. He talks with Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig about staying focused, taking in the moments, and much more. Check out Episode 5 of Coaches Corner with Nick Canterino.

CAMPBELL OH- The Rocking Red Devils are poised to play for a district championship! Campbell fought their way past a Cardinal team that brought a good defensive game plan to the table. While Kevin Moore was slowed down for a half, other players like Xavion Leonard stepped up for the Red Devils. The next challenge ahead of them is the Falcons from Jefferson. This should be an offensive gun show as both teams have put up 70 plus multiple times this season.

Red Devils head coach Nick Canterino took the time to hop on Running Point this week to preview the game with Jefferson. CAMPBELL BOYS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 3) WITH NICK CANTERINO

CAMPBELL OH- The Red Devils have continued their journey towards a MVAC Championship. With now two wins over Liberty the goal is sitting right in front of them. The Devils are one win away from completing that task. They’ll matchup with Newton Falls for the first time of the season Friday for a chance to clinch.

Head coach Nick Canterino had a chance to stop by YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about the position his team in sitting in. He talks with Ty Bartell, and Anthony Hartwig about how the team is compared to his preseason expectations, the goals that lay ahead of them, and much more. CAMPBELL BOYS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 2) WITH NICK CANTERINO

CAMPBELL OH- The red hot, Rocking Red Devils of Campbell are coming off, yet another game in which they scored 80+ points of offense on the night! 

This time, their total was 88, as a part of the 88-58 victory against Western Reserve on December 23rd. 

Making it the fifth time in just eight games in which The Red Devils accomplished the feat of 80 or more points on offense. 

Campbell hopes the winter break has little effect in cooling them off, as they have a conference game lined up with The Champion Flashes on Tuesday, January 4th.

CAMPBELL BOYS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH NICK CANTERINO

CAMPBELL OH- The tradition inside the Campbell basketball program runs deep. No one understands that more than head coach Nick Canterino. He is trying hard to get the Red Devils back to their former glory. They are returning a couple of seniors to the team who now realize how special this team can be. The whole community is feeling the anticipation along with the players, and coaching staff. Although the road will be tough, the Red Devils are a team to keep your eye on during the 2021 season.
