TIGERS POUNCE INTO NEXT ROUND

NEW MIDDLETOWN OH- Springfield comes in to this season’s district tournament as one of the favorites. The second seeeded Tigers elected to not take a bye and play their first round game. They drew Sebring, and beat them for the third time this season 63-26.

Leading the Tigers on the night was Madi Lesnak who put together an impressive 18 points. Jameka Brungard was also in double figures on the night with 10. Jacey Mullen contributed 9 points to the Tigers offense.

Sebring got a strong effort from Devyn Reggi being in double figures with 10. Blake Thomas added 9.

Springfield advances into the sectional finals on Saturday. They will host Lordstown. Tip off is set for 1:00.
