TOTH RETURNS WITH DOMINATION IN THE CIRCLE

CANFIELD OH- After a week-long absence due to a minor injury, Malena Toth returned to the circle for Canfield on Tuesday night with a bang. In her first game back, she delivered a dominating performance, throwing a no-hitter and leading Canfield to a 4-0 victory over a tough Edison team.

Toth wasted no time making her presence felt, striking out batters left and right finishing with 20 in the game.  All of that while allowing only one walk throughout the game. Her impeccable control and fierce determination kept the Edison hitters off balance all night long.

The Canfield offense also came alive to support Toth’s stellar pitching. Macey Kalina led the charge, going 2-for-3 at the plate with three RBIs and crossing the plate once herself. Caylee Ortiz contributed with a clutch RBI, going 1-for-1, while Faith Morell and Marina Koenig each added hits to keep the pressure on Edison.
