REBELS GET REVENGE IN TOURNAMENT PLAY

LIBERTY OH- In a rematch of regular season matchups, Crestview sought revenge against MVAC rival Liberty in the sectional semifinals on Tuesday. The Rebels dropped both regular season meetings with Liberty. With their bats blazing, the Rebels secured a decisive 15-5 victory, advancing to the sectional finals.

Crestview wasted no time asserting their dominance, putting runs on the board early and often. Emma Snyder led the offensive charge, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs and crossing the plate twice. Sadie Halloran and Kerrigan Miller also had hot bats, each contributing two hits and two RBIs. Rylee Cloutier and Chloe Stoops added to the onslaught with key hits and RBIs of their own.

In the circle, Miller delivered a solid performance, allowing just one earned run on three hits over four innings of work. Her command and poise kept Liberty hitters at bay, allowing Crestview’s offense to build a commanding lead.

Despite facing a tough opponent, Liberty showed resilience at the plate. Rachel Strohmeyer led the Leopards’ offense, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Sara Horn also had a strong showing, driving in three runs.
