Ernst coolly sank both free throws, giving the Warriors the lead. With no timeouts left for Harvey, they attempted a full-court shot that ultimately missed.

The Edgewood Warriors, with a record of 10-3, will face the Geneva Eagles (11-2) in an eagerly anticipated rematch on 1/23/24. This rematch follows a triple-overtime clash on 12/16/23, where Edgewood fell short with a 70-68 loss. On the other hand, the Harvey Red Raiders (6-8) will host the Conneaut Spartans (3-9) on 1/23/24. The Red Raiders previously triumphed over Conneaut with a convincing 90-57 win on 12/16/23.
