BADGER SECURES THEIR SPOT IN THE NEXT ROUND

KINSMAN OH- Badger secured their spot in the next round of the tournament with an impressive 11-1 run-rule victory over Lordstown in just 5 innings.

From the opening inning, Badger’s offense came out firing on all cylinders. Brianna Huscroft and Isabella Bailey led the charge, each going 3 for 4 at the plate. Huscroft contributed with 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs, while Bailey drove in an impressive 5 RBIs and scored 1 run herself. Samantha Bradbury added another RBI, while Maria Baker and Morgan Hall each scored a run for Badger.

In the circle, Molly O’Brien delivered a solid performance, pitching a complete game. She allowed just 1 earned run on 5 hits over 5 innings, while recording 2 strikeouts to keep Lordstown’s offense in check.
