RISHEL REMAINS PERFECT; EAGLES ROUGH UP AQUINAS

LOUISVILLE, OH- JFK’s Jaden Rishel was perfect on the mound on Tuesday to lead the Eagles past Aquinas 18-0.

Offensively, Gavin Shrum led John F. Kennedy to victory by driving in four runs. Shrum went 3-for-5 at the plate. Shrum drove in runs on a double in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the fourth.  JFK fired up the offense in the first inning. Shrum drove in one when Shrum doubled.

The Eagles would put up eight runs in the second inning. ShrumCaleb HadleyMichael MauroRishel, and Michael Condoleon all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Rishel was credited with the victory for JFK as the pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over five innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.

A perfect game.

Evan Kugler took the loss for Aquinas. The bulldog went two innings, allowing 12 runs on six hits and striking out one.

JFK’s offense racked up 14 hits on the day.  Shrum and Rishel each managed three hits to lead JFK.
