QUAKERS GET BACK TO ACTION WITH ROAD VICTORY

CANFIELD, OH – The South Range boys were looking to extend their win streak to five as they hosted Salem on Saturday night. The Quakers came in tonight’s game trying to keep their good season going. Salem started off hot, getting a decent lead on the South Range early on. Throughout the first half, the Raiders struggled to keep up with the Quakers as their offense was quick and sharp. In the second half, the Raiders found a spark and continued to cut the lead down but were not able to tie the game up or take a lead of their own. In the 4th quarter, South Range kept the pressure on and nearly tied the game but Salem held on and took a 53-46 victory.

For the Raiders, Mike Patrone led the way with 15 points. Behind him was Eli Taylor with 8, and Nate Brown with 6 points on the night. For the Quakers, Drew Weir led the way with 17 points. Behind him was Brock Young with 10. Hunter Griffith and Jon Null both contributed 9 points respectively on the night.

Salem will be back in action to host Warren JFK January 26th. The Raiders will travel to Struthers to take on the Wildcats on January 26th. Don’t miss it on YSN!
