JFK OFFENSE GOES QUIET AGAINST LCC

HARTVILLE, OH- Lake Center Christian scored seven runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Bryant drew a walk, scoring one run, Caleb Shelly singled, scoring two runs, Spickard grounded out, scoring one run, Norman singled, scoring two runs, and Grant Coblentz doubled, scoring one run.

Bryant earned the win for Lake Center Christian. They allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking four. Jaden Rishel took the loss for Kennedy. The righty went three and one-third innings, allowing 13 runs (12 earned) on 11 hits, striking out three and walking three.

Lake Center Christian piled up 12 hits in the game. Norman seized on their opportunities, leading Lake Center Christian with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The shortstop went 3-for-3 on the day. Coblentz, Harrison Coblentz, and Maninga each collected multiple hits for Lake Center Christian. Lake Center Christian was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Maninga had the most chances in the field with eight.

Next up for Kennedy is a game against Lake Center Christian on Tuesday.
