BOARDMAN BOUNCES BACK IN A BIG WAY

WARREN, OH – After having a tough stretch of games in the remaining weeks of 2021, the Boardman Spartans were looking to get back in the win column in 2022 with a victory over the Howland Tigers Tuesday night. The Spartans were able to hit the reset button with great defensive play and shooting from deep (9 three-pointers) to propel them to a 65-47 victory over the Tigers. 

For Boardman, Luke Ryan led the team with 22 points on the night. Behind him was Trey DePietro who added 15 for the Spartans.

For Howland, Anthony Massucci led the way with 19 points on the night.

Boardman will be back in action on Friday, as they are set to host Austintown Fitch. Howland will also be back in action on Friday as they will host Warren Harding. Don’t miss it on YSN!
