CANFIELD WINS TOURNAMENT TUNE UP

CANFIELD OH- Canfield nabbed the lead late in the game in a 6-4 victory over Lakeview on Tuesday. Canfield was down 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Jack Davis singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Connor Miller took the win for the Cardinals. The pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Nolan Toth took the loss for Lakeview. The bulldog went one inning, allowing one run on two hits.

Matthew DeProfio started the game for the Bulldogs. The hurler went three and a third innings, allowing two runs on three hits Michael Patellis started the game for Canfield. The righthander allowed four hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking one

Canfield scattered eight hits in the game. Ben Slanker and Davis all managed multiple hits. Davis and Slanker each managed two hits to lead.

The Bulldogs totaled eight hits. Brandon Toot and Gino Lazzari all had multiple hits to lead the offense.
