CARDS AND EAGLES BATTLE TO A DRAW

CANFIELD OH- It was a perfect night on Wednesday for soccer in Canfield. A premiere matchup between JFK and Canfield boys soccer headlined the night as both squads have high hopes of a successful season.  This early season test was one both teams were looking forward to. The two titans battled all night, but couldn’t separate themselves from each other. The entertaining game ended in a 2-2 tie.

For Canfield they had a pair of contributions to their offense.  Drew Snyder, and Ethan Mulichak both found the back of the net.  They also were both credited with the assist on the others’ goal.  Luke Rupeka got JFK on the board first, and then in the second half JFK got a goal from Will Davis.  Nico Ciminero made a bunch of nice saves to keep the Eagles in the match.

Canfield will move on to rivalry night against Poland on Tuesday on the road.  JFK will be on the road next as well as they travel to Brookfield on Monday.
