ASHTABULA OH- Edgewood had one of the best seasons a program could ask for last year, winning a ton of games and having players put their names on the local map. With the turning of the calendar to a new season, the Warriors will look to carry that momentum into another exciting year on the floor. While they did lose key senior leaders to graduation, the Warriors have plenty of returning talent to be excited about.

But for Youngstown East Golden Bears girls basketball Head Coach Tanisha Franklin, it is the hard work and grit that is needed that she is more than accustomed to! Doubling as the schools Athletic Director, Coach Franklin is a driving force behind athletic programs at East making a turn around. For the girls basketball team, Coach Franklin and The Golden Bears are coming off one of their best seasons in recent years, with a 13-8 record a season ago, East looks to build off last year.
