EAST PALESTINE OH- The state of fall sports is still up in the air in Ohio.  With  so much uncertainty we felt it was time to have another chat with the a OHSAA Senior Director Of Communications Tim Stried.  Tim has another great conversation with Ron about what the future of fall sports may look like in the state of Ohio.

RON POTESTA’S 40-YARD EXTRAVIGANZA

EAST PALESTINE, OH- Running Point Main Anchor Ron Potesta joined the ranks of the 40 yard dashers at YSN on Friday.

Potesta polled his followers for an over/under time to which it was set at 6.75.  It quickly turned into Ron vs. the world with nearly everyone choosing the over.

EAST PALESTINE OH- The future of high school sports in Ohio is still cloudy. Although some regulations and reopening dates have emerged, a lot of questions still remain, especially for the 2020 football season. Will there be fans? If so how many? How will the playoffs look?

OHSAA Senior Director of Communication Tim Stried joined Running Point on Friday to shed some light on the current state of the OHSAA, and it’s future plans. He also discusses the expanded playoff format for 2021

INTERVIEW WITH STEVE LESLIE

EAST PALESTINE OH- Baseball is back!! Yesterday Class B baseball announced they will have a condensed summer schedule for all age groups. Using Bob Cene Park, it is going to be a summer of baseball on YSN. The action is set to begin Sunday June 14th.

YSN General Manager Steve Leslie was a busy man as he joined the YSN One Pop Press Conference Thursday Night and Running Point on Friday to talk about the plans for the season, how things will look, and much more.

INTERVIEW WITH JAMES FRANCESCHELLI

EAST PALESTINE OH-  McDonald has a new head coach for their boys basketball program, and his name is James Franceschelli.  He has some big shoes to fill as the program had tremendous success under Jeff Rasile.  However, James is confident that despite the regime change, and the talent graduating that the Blue Devils still have a real chance at surprising a lot of people. No one knows more than him, he spent last season as an assistant coach on the bench. He knows exactly what he has, and how much his team can do.  A lot of talent on the team, was kept in the dark with the unbelievable run Zach Rasile had in the program.  Now people are going to find out how much depth the McDonald team has.  James still has plenty of talent to work with, and a strong group of young players ready to step up.  If things go according to plan, the Blue Devils wont miss a beat.
