CLIPPERS WIN THE WANING MOMENTS

HANOVERTON OH- Fans were treated to an intense matchup between Columbiana and United on Monday, with both teams locked in a scoreless battle until the 7th inning. In a game that had everyone on the edges of their seats, the Clippers managed to scratch through a run in the top half and seal the deal in the bottom to secure the victory.

Columbiana’s offense struggled to find its rhythm early on, but managed to come through when it counted. Colin Keleman, Alex Eusebio, and Max Conway each contributed with a hit, while Reese Roush drew a crucial walk and delivered a key hit to help push across the lone run of the game.

The real heroics, however, came on the mound for Columbiana. Devin Dougherty delivered a masterful performance, pitching a complete game gem. He held United to just 3 hits over 7 innings, while striking out an impressive 9 batters. Dougherty’s command and composure under pressure kept United’s offense at bay and ultimately secured the win for the Clippers.
