CREEKSIDE HANDS ASTRO FALCONS FIRST LOSS OF THE SUMMER

STRUTHERS OH- Creekside and Astro Falcons have been a rivalry for years in Class B Baseball, on Sunday Creekside dominated the Falcons, winning 10-2 in 18U action and handing the Falcons their first loss of the young summer.

Jackson Cheeks was electric, racking up two hits, including a double, and scoring three times. Aidan Crochier smashed a homer, added two hits, drove in two runs, and crossed the plate three times. Mason Petridis was unstoppable with four hits, including two doubles and a triple, racking up six RBIs and scoring once. Eli Mandler also chipped in with three hits and an RBI.

On the mound, Tyler Skeen was a force, pitching five innings, allowing just three hits and one run while striking out nine.

For the Astro Falcons, Tyler Vogel and Creed Vogel each had two hits and an RBI. Jay Wrona added two hits, including a double, and scored a run.

Creekside’s offense was relentless, and Skeen’s pitching sealed the deal in this convincing victory.
