CRESTVIEW OUTLASTS WESTERN RESERVE

COLUMBIANA, OH- Senior standout Kirkland Miller showed up big in the win for Crestview, as the Rebels snuck past Western Reserve on Tuesday, 49-42.

Miller posted 27 points total in the game, including going 10/11 from the free-throw line, and also led the way in rebounds with six.

James Best helped supplement in the win with 12 points of his own, Wyatt Miller chipped in four and had a pair of steals, Jameson English had three, and Jonathan Best sunk a pair of free throws late.  Joey Carr also added a point in the win.

Crestview shot 80% from the charity stripe on the night.

Western Reserve had a trio of scorers in double digits, Joey Serensky led the way with a dozen, Dom Ricciardi dropped 11, and Hayden Fellows had 10 for the Devils.  Luke Hennig contributed 5 to the effort, while Luke Ramsey had 4.

Crestview improves to 2-1 on the year and will host Springfield on Friday.  Western Reserve drops to 0-2 and will travel to Struthers on Saturday night.
