AUSTINTOWN OH- The Fitch volleyball team will have plenty of leadership this season with a senior class of seven players. However, he team voted captains picked two players to represent their team on the court. Senior Alyssa Leskovac and junior Jocelyn Jourdan are the elected leaders. The fact that they don’t have to carry the weight of leadership by themselves is a big deal for these two. They might be the captains, but the team has plenty of players with leadership qualities. These two feel grateful to be voted into this position from their teammates, it is the ultimate sign of respect. They both had over 100 kills a season before, Leskovac was a big contributor on defense as well gathering more than 200 digs. Joudan was a force at the net going along with her offense she tallied 50 total blocks.

Jocleyn and Alyssa took the time to join YSN’s Running Point this week to discuss what it means to them to be voted captains. They also discuss their leadership qualities, team goals, and much more.
