HERALDS FALL IN HOME OPENER

Ashtabula, OH- In a challenging season opener, the St. John Heralds faced a tough defeat against the Crestview Red Devils, with a final score of 60-26. The Heralds showed resilience throughout the game but were unable to overcome Crestview’s early lead, trailing 23-8 at the end of the first quarter and 40-16 at halftime.

Vin Narducci led the scoring effort for St. John with an impressive 11 points, supported by AJ Henslee with 6 points. However, Crestview’s Dekota Johnson showcased exceptional skill, contributing 16 points to his team’s victory. Other key contributors for Crestview included Charlie Scheickert with 13 points and Brody Durham with 8 points.
