JACKSON MILTON ABSORBS RAMS BEST SHOT

MINERAL RIDGE OH- Jackson Milton came in to Thursday’s matchup with Mineral Ridge with a must win mentality. After dropping their matchup earlier in the week to Western Reserve, the Blue Jays couldn’t afford any more losses in the league. Mineral Ridge had upset on the mind as they gave Jackson Milton every punch in their arsenal. The Blue Jays did just enough to win though as they escaped the Rams 46-39.

Kylie Wilson was the leading scorer for the Blue Jays despite being out for the third quarter due to an injury. In her absence, Ava Darney stepped up big. She scored most of her 12 points while Wilson was out. Chelsea Williams was also in double figures for the Jays with 11.

Ava Hulett led the Rams with 13 points, and right behind her was Olivia Booth with 12.

Jackson Milton will travel to Leetonia on Monday for an out of conference tune up. The Rams get back to action on Saturday hosting Sebring.
