MEAT LEFT ON THE BONE

YOUNGSTOWN, OH- For Cardinal Mooney Baseball Standout, Zach Hryb, life is about more than singles and doubles, it’s about living life with a 3-1 count and leaving a legacy in his community that feels like a walk-off winner.

Zach doesn’t sweat the small stuff, anymore.  He’s a four-year letterman of the Cardinal Baseball Team with ambitions of leveling up a couple more times before he hangs up the cleats.

Based if faith, family, and sports- Hryb continues to defy the odds with his work ethic on and off the diamond.  Zach is ranked sixth for second basemen in the state, and to help benefit the team and his future- has moved into the outfield.

A commit this past fall to Walsh University, Zach plans on focusing on coding, and cyber security in school moving forward.

With all of these great things that Zach has stacked up in his career, he still feels as if there is meat left on the bone.

YSN’s DJ Yokley sat down with the Big Bird on Campus for the Cardinal Mooney Player Profile.
