STRUTHERS, OH- It didn’t take long for Brandon Mikos to get acclimated to his new uniform. The Prospects new pitcher proved his worth in his first outing with the club as the hurler threw a complete game, one-hitter 2-0 victory against Knightline.

Mikos’ final line gave him 10 strikeouts and seemed to get stronger as the game went on. The only hit for Knightline belonged to Brett Bobin in the fifth.

For the Prospects, Nick DeGregory led the way on offense going 2-2. Lorenzo Russo and David Mays would drive in a run apiece.

This was Knightline’s first loss of the year (1-1) and brings the Prospects back to even on the year at 2-2 and puts them in third place.
