UNION, PA- In a thrilling volleyball matchup between Mohawk and Union, both teams battled fiercely, ultimately resulting in an intense five-set game in the varsity match and a two-set contest in the JV match.

Varsity Game Summary:

The varsity game was a rollercoaster of emotions as the teams exchanged blows throughout the five sets. Mohawk started strong, taking the first two sets with scores of 25-17 and 25-18. Deyani Revis displayed incredible defensive skills with 9 blocks and added 6 kills to her impressive performance. Chloe Fadden contributed 5 kills and 13 digs, while Sara Hampson shone with 5 aces and 5 digs. Avery Sun made her presence felt with 7 kills.

However, Union wasn’t going down without a fight. They rallied in the third and fourth sets, winning 25-18 and 25-23, showcasing their determination. The momentum swung in their favor, setting the stage for a thrilling fifth set.

In the decisive fifth set, Union maintained their composure and clinched victory with a score of 15-12. The intense matchup ended with Union emerging triumphant in the varsity game.

JV Game Summary:
