POLAND WINS PHYSICAL BOUT WITH EAGLES

POLAND OH- Ond thing everyone knows about Bubbard girls basketball, they are physical. They certainly aren’t afraid of contact. That attitude gives a lot of teams problems, and it’s a big reason the Eagles came into Monday nights game 6-4. Poland was up for the task though as they handled a physical battle and came out 58-30 victors.

The Bulldogs were led by Connie Cougras who scored 15 points. Katie McDonald worked hard to get herself in double figures with 10 points. Poland had 10 players score at least 2 points. Abby Farber contributed 7.

Hubbard was paced by Sophie Murphy who put in 7 points. Gabriella Jones, and Mary Frangos each were able to add 6.

Poland stays at Thursday to host Niles. Hubbard will try to stay above .500 with a matchup at Struthers on Thursday.
