PROSPECTS GET THEIR PUNCHES IN

STRUTHERS OH- In a thrilling showdown at Bob Cene Park on Thursday night, the Prospects scored three late runs to snatch a 3-2 victory from Ballistic Baseball in Class B Baseball 18U action. After being shut out for six innings, the Prospects came alive in the final frame to seal the win.

Owen Boone secured the win in relief of Mason Nawrocki, who pitched five solid innings, giving up two runs on five hits, striking out five, and walking three. Nik Kyprionou took the tough loss for Ballistic, coming in for Carter Wilson, who had dominated the Prospects with six shutout innings, allowing just three hits, striking out eight, and walking one.

Traynor Janosko led the charge for the Prospects with two hits and two RBIs. Hunter Stacy contributed with an RBI single and scored a run in the walk-off win. For Ballistic, Boyd Kurutz stood out with two hits and a run scored.
