REBELS ROLL TO SECOND VICTORY OVER NEWTON FALLS

COLUMBIANA, OH- The Crestview Rebels put up 11 runs in the third on their way to a 12-1 victory over Newton Falls on Thursday. The offensive onslaught by Crestview was led by Jesse McKeeCade HancoxHunter DuVallSam CampbellCarter Blakeman, and Ethan Feezle, all driving in runs in the frame.

Crestview pulled away for good with 11 runs in the third inning. In the frame McKee drew a walk, scoring one run, Hancox singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, DuVall drew a walk, scoring one run, Campbell grounded out, scoring one run, Blakeman singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run, Feezle singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and Hancox singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Feezle was the winning pitcher for the RebelsFeezle went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out nine, and gave away no free passes.

Hanzel took the loss for Newton Falls. The hurler went two innings, allowing three runs on one hit and striking out two.

Crestview racked up seven hits as a team. Blakeman and Hancox each managed multiple hits for Rebs. Hancox and Blakeman all had two hits to lead the team.

The Rebels (2-0) will now look to take on Boardman at home on Friday.
