SOUTH RANGE CONTINUES TO SURGE

CANFIELD OH- South Range extended their impressive winning streak with a commanding three-set victory over Mooney, solidifying their status as a dominant force in high school volleyball. The final scores of 25-20, 25-22, and 25-18 showcased South Range’s ability to sweep their opponents while maintaining their exceptional form.

Several standout players made significant contributions to South Range’s victory. Anna Toy emerged as a formidable offensive force with an outstanding 15 kills, complemented by 13 digs, showcasing her versatility on both ends of the court. Sarah Kuhns orchestrated the team’s offense with precision, tallying 19 assists, while also contributing 5 digs and 2 aces. Madison Mook’s serving prowess was on full display with 6 aces, adding to her 6 kills. Madison Dado also made a significant impact with 7 kills and 7 digs.

On the Mooney side, Jaida Lane showcased her skills with 7 kills, 5 blocks, and 3 aces, highlighting her versatility and presence at the net. Amarra Anderson added 6 kills and 4 blocks to bolster Mooney’s offensive efforts, while Brinkley Bair contributed 8 kills and 4 digs. Maria Pecchia displayed her serving abilities with 4 aces and also contributed defensively with 7 digs. Katie Frommelt anchored the backcourt with 12 digs, and Natalie Blasko facilitated the team’s offense with 23 assists.
