STANLEY LEADS THE WAY; WINDHAM BOUNCES BRISTOL

WINDHAM, OH- Landon Stanley drove in five on two hits to lead Windham past Bristol 12-5 on Friday. Stanley drove in runs on a double in the second and a single in the fifth.

Bristol scored three runs in the second inning, but the Bombers still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive onslaught by Bristol was led by Roach, Kohler, and Williams, all driving in runs in the inning.

Windham got things started in the first inning when Miki Jones singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.  Windham scored four runs in the fifth inning. Stanley and Jodan Smithberger each had RBIs in the big inning.

Jack Eye took the win for the Bombers. The righty lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out one. Chase Eye threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kohler took the loss for Bristol. The pitcher went two innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out three.

Smithberger started the game for Windham. The pitcher allowed zero hits and three runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two

The Bombers tallied 11 hits on the day. Jones, Eye, and Stanley all had multiple hits. Stanley, Eye, and Jones each collected two hits to lead the way.
