SUPERIOR SHEELY

* CONTRIBUTED BY NOAH DOUGHTY

NEW MIDDLETOWN, OH – It’s week six and the Springfield Tigers look like they are hitting their stride. They have put up one hundred and twenty-seven points over the last two weeks. And while the running game has been a big component that teams can’t overlook the passing threat this team poses. And that’s made possible in part thanks to the big play threat of senior Dylan Sheely. Sheely plays wide receiver and cornerback for the Tigers. Sheely’s ability to get open in tight coverage alongside of his explosive speed makes him a favorite target in the passing game. He also has been getting involved in the rushing game along with playing the defensive side of the ball. But his favorite position is receiver and that’s where he thrives.

YSN’s own, Noah Doughty, had the opportunity to o sit down with Dylan this week at Tiger’s Table, to talk about how being apart of the state run during their freshman year has shaped this senior class, what he thinks this team can accomplish this season, what it means playing for Springfield and the support means to him, and rapid fire questions where we learn more about Dylan both on and off the field.

Tune in to this week’s Springfield Tigers football player profile with senior star, Dylan Sheely, on YSNLive!
