CREEKSIDE WITH A LOUD RESPONSE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Ballistic Baseball just fell short Friday evening to Creekside Fitness by a score of 6-3.

Creekside was led by Payton Zupko and Nick Magnifico, who both went 2 for 3 at the plate. Ballistic was led by Brock White, who went 2 for 3, Brady Harman and Josh Wolf, who both went 2 for 2 at the plate.

Mitch Garvin was the winning pitcher of the evening as he allowed two runs on five hits. 

CREEKSIDE DEFENSE SHOWS UP BIG

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Creekside Fitness got the 4-0 win Tuesday night at Bob Cene Park against the Prospects.

Creekside was led at the plate by Derek Smail, who went 2 for 4 and scored one run. Zach Mclean got the win on the mound as he allowed just two hits and sat down nine batters at the plate.

The losing pitcher of the evening was Zachary Zebosky, who allowed three runs on one hit.

CREEKSIDE DRIVES HOME SUCCESS

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Creekside Fitness picked up the 5-0 victory Monday evening against Dura Edge at Bob Cene Park.

Creekside was led at the plate by Tyler Mikulin, who went 3 for 3, and as well as Mitch Garvin and Andrew Kali, who both went 2 for 3.

Mikulin also picked up the win on the mound as he allowed just two hits and sat down five batters at the plate.

CREEKSIDE’S PITCHING COMES THROUGH

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Creekside Fitness socred late to secure the 4-1 victory over Knightline Thursday at Bob Cene Park.

Creekside Fitness was led by multiple players who had one hit including Hunter Shields, who went 1 for 1, Frank Senediak and Wyatt Burchill, who both went 1 for 2 at the plate.

The losing pitcher of the night was John Darnley, who allowed four runs on three hits with four strikeouts. The winning Pitcher of the evening was Zach Mcclean, who allowed one run on four hits with eight strikeouts.

CREEKSIDE HAS LAST LAUGH IN A POWER FEST

STRUTHERS, OHIO- In what was a high scoring affair Wednesday night The Whiting Roll-Offs snuck by Creekside Fitness 15-12.

The Roll-Offs were led by Nick Parrotto, Mike Delduca, Matt Delduca, and Hunter Lively, who all had multiple hits at the plate.

Creekside also had several players with multiple hits including Braeden D’Angelo, Ray Altmeyer, Jason Nuttridge, Tyler Mikulin, and Braden Zeigler. The winning pitcher of the night was Nick Thomas, who allowed nine runs on twelve hits with two strikeouts.

The losing pitcher of the night was Andrew Kali, who allowed eight runs on nine hits with one strikeout.

CREEKSIDE STORMS THE GATES AGAINST EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS, OHIO- Creekside had a good outing tonight at Bob Cene Park as they cruised past Eagle Wear 17-2.

Creekside was led by Dom Santee and Bryce Covert, who both went 3 for 3 at the plate and as well as Hunter Sheilds, who went 3 for 4, Trent Litman, and Wyatt Burchill, who both went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Matt Leonard was the winning pitcher of the evening allowing two runs on four hits with two strikeouts.

CREEKSIDE SECURES FIRST PLACE SPOT

STRUTHERS OH- The Astro Falcons had held first place for the first week of Class B Baseball in the 16U division, but Creekside has been right on their tail.  Coming in to Thursday night Creekside and Astro Falcons were tied at the top with 7-2 records.  When they clashed though, only one could earn the first place spot. It was Creekside that would prevail 11-10.

Carter Owens was one of the big bats in the Creekside lineup.  He went 2-3 on the night with 2 RBI.  Dom Santee had a perfect day at the plate going 3-3 with 2 RBI.  Jackson Cheeks also had 3 hits on the night going 3-4 with a single RBI.  Trent Litman was also solid going 2-3 with a RBI and a run scored.

The Astro offense was nothing to turn your nose up at.  Anthony Triveri went 3-4 for them knocking in 3 RBI.  Dawson Wallace also went 3-4 and swung home 2 RBI.  Tanner Stricko also drive in a pair with a 1-2 effort at the plate.

CREEKSIDE PULLS OUT A CLOSE ONE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- In what was a close game for most of the way, the Creekside Fitness scored four runs in the sixth inning to take the lead for good as they defeated the Whiting Roll-Offs 6-2 at Bob Cene Park.

The Roll-Offs were led by Blake Krushinski and Genero Leitera, who both went 2 for 3 at the plate. The losing pitcher of the night was RJ Kissick, who allowed three runs on five hits and sat down five batters at the plate.

Creekside was led by Dane Barber at the plate as he went 2 for 3. On the mound, it was Hunter Kobialka who picked up the win as he allowed two runs on eight hits with four strikeouts.

KNIGHTLINE OUT BLASTS CREEKSIDE

STRUTHERS, OHIO- In what was a high scoring game, Knightline just snuck by Creekside Fitness 13-11 at Bob Cene Park.

Creekside did have a good outing at the plate in the losing effort as they were led by Jake Patterson, who went 3 for 4, Caleb Hadley and Tyler Mikulin as they both went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Mikulin was also the losing pitcher of the game as he four hits, five runs, and sat down three batters.

The leaders at the plate for Knightline were Andrew Brown, who went 2 for 2, and Chance Laczko, who went 3 for 3.

The winning pitcher was Caden Maffit, who allowed five runs on six hits and sat down eight men at the plate. 

FALCONS CLINCH CLASS B CHAMPIONSHIP

STRUTHERS OH- After the Class B Championship Series had to hit a pause button to make room for the NABF World Series, the Astro Falcons and Creekside Fitness met back up to complete the series. With a 2-1 series lead coming in, the Astro Falcons clinched the Class B title with an 8-3 win.

Tyler Armstrong came up clutch for the Falcons on the night going 2-4 with 2 RBI.  David Kessler also knocked in 2 RBI on a 1-3 day. Ben Slanker mirrored those numbers driving in 2 going 1-3. He also scored a run.  Zeke Hendricks managed multiple hits going 2-3 with 2 runs scored.

Joe Roth went the distance in a championship level effort on the mound. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits, and ended with 6 strike outs and no walks.

Payton Zupko had a good day at the plate for Creekside despite the loss. He went 1-2 with a RBI.  Tyler Kamerer went 1-3 with a RBI.  Henry Shaffer also went 1-3 with a RBI from the top of the order.

Braeden D’Angelo took the loss on the mound for Creekside.  He went 3 innings and gave up 5 runs on only 3 hits.  He struck out 1.  Creekside struck out 6 as a team.
