TIGERS MAKE THE FINAL JUMP IN OVERTIME

HANOVERTON OH- In a hard-fought battle on Friday, Wellsville had to scratch and claw their way to an overtime victory over United, securing a 56-49 win. The Eagles dominated the extra frame with a 10-3 advantage.

Wellsville’s Tyrell Watkins led the scoring charge with an impressive 29 points, supported by Elijah Douglas with 11, and Richie Dowling contributing 7.

United’s effort was led by Luke Courtney with 17 points, closely followed by Trent Ellyson with 16. Jason Pratt and Loudon Stryffeler each added 6 points to the team’s total.

In addition to Ryan’s milestone achievement, Michael Condoleon led JFK’s scoring with an impressive 20 points, followed closely by Ryan contributing 18, and Nico Ciminero adding 9.

With a 12-3 record, Warren JFK now looks ahead to another big test as they hit the road to face Canfield on Tuesday. The milestone night for Nick Ryan adds a memorable chapter to the Eagles’ season, even in the face of a competitive matchup against Mogadore.
