THE U.S.S. HARROLD SAILING IN SOUTH RANGE

If you Google the U.S.S. Harold, you will find a ship listed as an E-Class destroyer escort that was constructed for the U.S. Navy during WWII.  *If you Google U.S.S. Harrold in South Range, you will find a sturdy, powerful Class A defense destroyer that suits up in burgundy and gold every Friday night for the Raiders.

The difference in the two stories is one of these destroyers was decommissioned after 2 years, the other is in year four of deflating opposing defenses for touchdowns regularly.

One earned 2 battle stars in one war, the other scored 3 touchdowns in one night.

No matter the way you slice it, South Range’s Trent Harrold is built for war.  When opposing coaches watch the film, and they see the gold 36 jersey breaking tackles as if he’s running through ghosts, they know they’re in for a long night.

We had the chance to catch up with Trent before practice, and discuss many topics that include the main differences from last year to this one, and what characteristic he hopes to leave with his underclassman!
