REMISH MAKES IT OFFICIAL: FROM SRHS TO SRU

The Letters SR must be meaningful to South Range Senior, Peyton Remish.  Today, Remish made things official with a great crowd on-hand by signing his letter of intent to attend Slippery Rock University and join the Pride this fall.

“I am very excited for Peyton and his decision to attend Slippery Rock to further his education and football career,” says South Range Head Football Coach Dan Yeagley.  “Peyton was a huge part of our success this year.  Being such a great leader and a four-year starter, he will be hard to replace.  Peyton will make an immediate impact at the next level and Slippery Rock is very excited to have him in their program.” Yeagley said.

Remish has been the “Pride” of South Range for the last 4 years.  His most recent accomplishments include being named Defensive Player of the Year in Division 5. Remish finished the season offensively with 292 carries, 1754 yards, and 19 touchdowns. Defensively, he contributed 151 tackles (34 for loss.)

We had a chance to catch up with Peyton and his dad, Jeff after the signing.
