MOHAWK PITCHING CAGES TIGERS

BEAVER FALLS, PA- The Mohawk Warriors unleashed a scoring frenzy in the third inning, piling on nine runs that secured a dominant 15-1 victory over Beaver Falls on Wednesday. The big inning was sparked by Garrett Noble’s sacrifice fly that brought in two runs, followed by a barrage of singles from Cash Stratton, Jack Andrews, Connor Hart, and Drew Wrona, each driving in runs and ramping up the score.

The Warriors kicked off the game strong, taking an early lead in the first inning after a fielding error by Beaver Falls allowed two runs to score, and Jackson Chapman added another with a single. They didn’t let up, adding more to their lead in the second inning thanks to Stratton’s double and another error by Beaver Falls.

On the mound, Tyler Howarth was untouchable, giving up no hits and no runs in his two innings of work, striking out two. Jared Kauffman came in relief and maintained the pressure, allowing just one run and striking out six in three innings.
