WILDCATS WEAVE THEIR WAY PAST LAKEVIEW

STRUTHERS OH-  In a hard-fought battle on Thursday, Struthers emerged victorious over Lakeview with a final score of 53-40. Struthers showcased resilience, overcoming a tough third quarter to secure the win on their home court.

Leading the scoring charge for Struthers was Emma Morris, who delivered an impressive 16-point performance. Ava Croyle contributed significantly with 13 points, and Gianna Martin added 7 points, highlighting the balanced offensive effort of the Wildcats.

Lakeview, despite facing a formidable opponent, displayed grit throughout the contest. Makenna Warner led the Bulldogs’ offensive efforts with 9 points, while Anna Haynie, Sophie Irwin, and Mack Stowe each contributed with 8, 7, and 7 points, respectively.

With this victory, Struthers (7-13) looks to build on their momentum as they host Poland in their upcoming matchup on Monday. Lakeview (5-15) returns home to face Hubbard on Monday, seeking to bounce back from the tough loss.
