1,000 REASONS TO BELIEVE IN KANICKI

ASHTABULA OH- Edgewood might be a new member of the YSN family, but they are not new to seeing tremendous athletes come through their program. They have a rich history of incredible players in multiple sports that have dawned a Warriors uniform. That makes it a special moment when a new player can put their stamp on the Edgewood program. Kaci Kanicki was able to become their newest member of the 1,000 point club early this season proving she needs a spot in the Warriors wall of legends.

Through 5 games Kanicki is averaging 22 points per game.  She is almost averaging a double double with 8.5 rebounds per contest as well.  She’s also a very efficient scorer, shooting 52% from the field so far.  Last year, Kaci finished the season averaging 17.7 points per contest, and 6.6 rebounds.

Kanicki took some time this week to come to YSN’s Running Point and talk about her season, and her 1,000 point moment. She also talks to Anthony Hartwig about the personality of the Warriors locker room, what her future goals might entail, and so much more.
