CLIPPERS CELEBRATE IN VICTORY OVER RIDGE

COLUMBIANA, OH-The Clippers utilized a huge 4th inning to pull away from the Rams on Thursday, scoring 10 of the team’s total 14. After falling behind 4-3, Columbiana said enough was enough and exploded. The Clippers would ultimately put the game to rest in the bottom of the 5th inning on Junior Ian Less’ 3rd hit of the ballgame, scoring Junior Devin Daugherty.

Daugherty got the start on the hill and went the distance for the Clips, striking out 5 Rams. Along with Less, Junior Colin Keleman and Senior Bayden Pipoly contributed multiple hits. Less and Junior Alex Eusebio each drove in 2 runs.

The Clippers will square off with EOAC rival United Local on Monday and Wednesday of the coming week.
