SPRINGFIELD BITES THE BULLDOGS ON SENIOR NIGHT

On a special evening celebrating senior night, the Springfield volleyball team delivered a memorable performance by sweeping East Palestine with scores of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-20.

The Tigers’ senior athletes played a pivotal role in this victory. Mariah Jones showcased her versatility with five crucial kills and an impressive 11 digs, demonstrating her all-around skills on the court. Nevaeh Cruz contributed eight valuable service points, while Baelyn Brungard made a significant impact with 13 kills, 10 digs, and five aces, highlighting her prowess in both attacking and serving.

Jameka Brungard delivered a standout performance with 15 kills and nine digs, showcasing her offensive and defensive abilities. Karigan Mullen orchestrated the team’s offense effectively, tallying an impressive 36 assists to set up her teammates for success.
