A MILESTONE NIGHT IN MINERAL RIDGE

It was a night filled with milestones and remarkable performances in Mineral Ridge as the Rams hosted Sebring in a volleyball showdown. The Rams delivered an outstanding performance, clinching victory in three sets with scores of 25-8, 25-6, and 25-11. However, it wasn’t just the win that made this night special; it was the individual achievements of two standout players.

Sammie Aulet, the Rams’ exceptional setter, reached a remarkable milestone by collecting her 2,000th career assist. This achievement solidifies her status as one of the program’s all-time greats and sets her on a path to potentially surpass her sister Danielle’s program record of 2,272 assists.

Ava Hulett, another key player for the Rams, achieved her own milestone by notching her 1,000th career dig. This significant accomplishment highlights her prowess as a defensive force on the team. As she continues to add to her impressive career statistics, she’s undoubtedly become a cornerstone of the Rams’ success.

In terms of the match itself, Aulet’s remarkable setting abilities were on full display as she finished with 26 assists, orchestrating the offense with precision. Faith Schneider led the offensive charge with 11 kills, while Hulett added 8 kills, and Anastasia Busse contributed 5 kills. Mikayla Russell showcased her defensive skills with 12 digs, anchoring the Rams’ backline, while Sheyalize Bonilla also chipped in with 7 digs and a remarkable 7 aces. Busse, too, made her presence felt with 8 aces.

On the Sebring side, Blake Thomas stood out with 4 kills, putting up a valiant effort against a strong Rams defense.
