BEAVERS FEEL GOOD GOING TO POSTSEASON

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- In a hard-fought battle on Tuesday night, Beaver Local emerged victorious, holding off Salem to notch their 10th win of the season with a final score of 61-50. It was a game marked by intense competition and determined efforts from both sides, but Beaver Local’s resilience and offensive prowess ultimately proved to be the difference-maker.

Leading the scoring charge for Beaver Local was Austin Cline, who delivered an impressive 16-point performance, showcasing his scoring ability and leadership on the court. Owen Hill and Hunter Warrick contributed 12 points each, adding to Beaver Local’s balanced offensive attack.

Despite Salem’s efforts, led by Cam Sampson with 13 points and Trent Fink with 12 points, they struggled to contain Beaver Local’s offensive firepower and fell short in their attempts to mount a comeback.

With this win, Beaver Local concludes their regular season with a record of 10-12, setting the stage for the upcoming tournament. Their first tournament game is scheduled for February 27th, as they travel to Minerva in pursuit of postseason success.
