BEIDELSCHIES THROWS A NO-NO; CARDS SCULPT CLAY

TOLEDO, OH- Canfield’s Landon Beidelschies was brilliant on the mound on Friday, as Beidelschies threw a no-hitter to lead Canfield past Clay 5-0.

Beidelschies was on the pitcher’s mound for Canfield. The southpaw allowed zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 13.

Hoersten toed the rubber for Clay. The hurler allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three. Stager threw four innings out of the bullpen.

Beidelschies launched a home run on the day as well. The Ohio Stare commit went yard in the seventh to cap off his big day.

Canfield racked up six hits in the game. Michael Patellis, Ethan Prout, and Beidelschies all managed multiple hits for the Cardinals. Beidelschies, Prout, and Patellis all had two hits to lead the Birds.
