CROYLE COMMANDS THE CIRCLE

HUBBARD OH- Hubbard senior Haley Croyle has been owning the pitcher’s circle for the Eagles for some time now. Her opponents are probably tired of looking across the field at her, and her teammates are trying to cherish every second they have with her during her senior season.  She has stepped into a big leadership this year as a senior, and has the Eagles poised to make some noise.

Croyle is officially going to play softball at the next level for Akron. There aren’t too many division 1 caliber pitchers in the area, so Hubbard is pretty blessed to have one commanding their circle. Croyle’s biggest strength that separates her from most is the movement she puts on her pitches. Anybody can time up a straight pitch, but when it starts to move, that’s what makes it difficult.

Joined by her fellow seniors, Haley will be taking in all she can this year. With her decision officially made about college there’s no pressure about any kind of recruiting process, her focus can be solely on making her team the best it can be. And the best the Eagles can be is pretty dang good.

Haley took the time to come on to YSN’s Running Point this week to talk about her senior season. She talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about the team goals this season, her softball journey, and much more. Don’t miss the first Hubbard softball player profile of the season!
