BROOKFIELD BRINGS THE RAIN TO BEAT REBELS

Crestview watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-2 loss to Brookfield on Friday. The Warriors scored on a error in the first inning and a single by Sophia Hook in the second inning.

Crestview struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Brookfield, giving up nine runs.

The Warriors got things started in the first inning. An error scored two runs.

Miranda Nicholson pitched Brookfield to victory. The ace lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out eight.

Kaedyn Sutton took the loss for Crestview . Sutton lasted seven innings, allowing 11 hits and nine runs while striking out 11.

Crestview launched one home run on the day. Sutton put one out in the first inning.

McKenna Schultz, Sutton, and Katie Lissi each collected one hit to lead Crestview .
