BULLDOGS CELEBRATE SENIOR NIGHT IN STYLE
CORTLAND OH- In a spectacular display of power and precision, Lakeview’s softball team celebrated their senior night with a commanding 14-4 run-rule victory over Struthers in their latest NE8 battle.
The offensive onslaught was led by senior Izzy Haines, who went a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate, including a towering home run, driving in 3 RBIs and crossing the plate twice. Makenna Werner and Hallie Capan also contributed to the barrage with their own home runs, each adding to the team’s total. Mack Stowe delivered in the clutch, going 1 for 4 with 4 RBIs, while Paige Schwartz showcased her patience at the plate with 2 RBIs and a walk.
I’m the circle, senior Isabella Isenberg dazzled with her pitching prowess, holding Struthers to just 2 hits and 1 earned run over 4.2 innings of work. Isenberg’s dominance was on full display as she struck out 9 batters, keeping Struthers’ offense at bay and giving Lakeview full control of the game.
