BULLDOGS SIT ON NE8 THRONE

POLAND OH- The Poland Bulldogs hit the links on Wednesday with a conference championship next on their list of accomplishments to be met this season. That accomplishment was checked off the list as the Bulldogs captured the NE8 Boys and Girls team titles at Squaw Creek Country Club.

Angelo Rinaldi took home medalist honors carding a 74 on the day. Rinaldi’s 74 alongside teammates Matthew Marrone 77, AJ Battaglia 84 and Michael Chambers 85 guided Poland to the team title with a score of 320.

South Range (339) finished second behind Michael Garwacki 76, Luke Rohan 86, Zander DiMuzio 88 and Jack Carey 89. Hubbard’s (348) third place finish was paced by Garrett Brajkovich 79, Jonathan Adamson 86, Geno Leshnak 91 and Colten Smith rounded out the card with a 92.

Lakeview (390) received contributions from Jason Demonica 90, Will Kirila 93, Ty Chamberlain 103, and Jack Peterson 104 on their way to claiming fourth place.

Girard (399) took fifth behind Wilson Stamford 97, Dom Phillips 99, Matt Shelley 100, and Chaise Henderson 103.

Niles (460) finished the day in the sixth spot.  Anthony Cesario recorded a 100,  while Nathan Glassmeyer 114,  Colin Preusser 120, and Coleman Lamb 126 competed for the Red Dragons.

Struthers (476) received  contributions from James Harrison 109, Mario Pecchia 119, Owen Eisenbraun 120, and Peyton Bova 128 to finish seventh overall.

The Girls were led individually by South Range’s Chloe Puhl carding a day’s best 98. Poland claimed the top spot for the  team title with a score of 424 The Bulldogs were led by Olivia Loftus 99, Nina Gordon 100, Kylie Kapics 108 and Katelynn Roberts 117. Hubbard (445) finished second behind Malorie Oyler 106, Maddie Fox 110, Kennedy Perline 114, and Eva Flynn 115.
South Range’s (460) third place finish was cemented by Puhl’s 98, Bethany Witmer 118, Brooke Herchik 120, and Annie Lumsden 124.
Girard (473) landed fourth with Lacie Lamm leading the way with 112, while Ally Gassman 118, Andriana LoCastro 121, Julia Ragozzino122 all added to their finish.
Lakeview (488) took fifth behind Delany Godfrey 115, Cassie Klotz 120, Addie Nicholas 125 and Lily Bell 128.
Niles (514) came in sixth and were led on the card by Kelli Kover 116, Tori Lanam 131, Alysse D’Errico 133 and Jillian Parry 134.
Struthers fielded a duo consisting of Bella Sadusky 121 and Addison Liptak 133.
