CONNEAUT CARVES UP EP

EAST PALESTINE, OH- It’s a season of small victories for East Palestine this year.  The Bulldogs continue to battle each week and keep one eye on this season while keeping the other eye focused on the future.

A long bus ride from a powerhouse Conneaut team was rewarding in a 70-15 pummeling of East Palestine on Friday night.

The Spartans racked up 321 yards on the ground with seven different rushers, the leading horses were Fedor and Davison with 2 touchdowns apiece, Davison had 172 yards on 5 carries.

East Palestine was led on offense by Dominic Cathers under center who went 3 for 7 through the air for 84 yards and a score, while receiver Dalton Vance had 3 receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown.  Cathers also returned a fumble for a score on defense and ran in the 2-point conversion.  Tyler Bistarkey provided the sizzle on special teams with 6 returns for 81 yards.

The Bulldogs (0-9) will conclude their season next week against EOAC rival, Columbiana.
