EDGEWOOD SETS UP SECTIONAL FINAL WITH WEST BRANCH

ASHTABULA OH- Edgewood got out to a five-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 6-4 victory over Crestwood on Tuesday to advance to the sectional finals. Crestwood scored three runs on a double in the sixth inning.

Lucianna Paolillo earned the win for Edgewood Varsity Warriors. The righthander went seven innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out 11.

Edgewood racked up nine hits on the day. Paolillo and Overly each collected multiple hits. Overly and Paolillo each collected two hits to lead.
