TWINSBURG OH- In a thrilling district semifinal showdown on Thursday night, Elyria delivered a stunning finish to bring an end to Fitch’s season, prevailing with a hard-fought 60-53 victory.
The game was closely contested throughout, with both teams battling fiercely for control. However, it was Elyria’s resilience and determination that ultimately proved decisive, as they surged ahead with a dominant performance in the fourth quarter, outscoring Fitch 25-15 to secure the win.
Despite the loss, Fitch put up a valiant effort, led by standout performances from Allen Hill, Marcel Finkley, and Alex Hill. Allen Hill led the scoring charge with 15 points, while Finkley and Alex Hill contributed 12 and 13 points respectively.
